About our Therapy Practice in Homewood

Gina Coleman, LCPC

I am Gina Coleman, a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), a mental health counselor with a specialty in rehabilitation; A licensed clinical professional counselor (LCPC) in the state of Illinois, I’m also a Certified Alcohol and Other Drug Counselor (CADC).

Life has its way of changing our plans, as a clinician I understand there is no greater disability or limitation in society than, the inability to see yourself in its greatest light. My objective as a clinician is to provide multifaceted intervention and rehabilitation skills; training and empowerment to individuals, families, and groups for the accomplishment of mental health, wellness, education, and career goals.

My therapeutic process stems from a combination of personal experience, empathy, and the desire to help others. “All things disability”, I specialize in all disabilities, my aim is to assist individuals with reaching their highest potential, while supporting autonomy, and de-stigmatizing the notion of mental health and or disability. As a mother of special needs children my passion is supporting parents and caregivers of children with behavioral and developmental challenges.

As a CRC by profession, I am always looking for ways to innovate, support, and dispute the challenges [and mindset] that could hinder your abilities.
